Our Agribusiness Group comprises our rendering, hog production and biodiesel operations.
Rothsay is Canada’s largest recycler of animal by-products into value-added products including animal feeds, amino acid supplements and other industrial uses. The company manufactures biodiesel for domestic and international markets at its facility in Montreal, Quebec which was the first Canadian plant dedicated to the commercial production of biodiesel. Biodiesel is a clean burning, biodegradable and renewable fuel made from a variety of recycled feedstock’s including vegetable oils, animal fats and cooking oils.
Maple Leaf Agri-Farms is the company’s hog production operations which support the needs and specifications of Maple Leaf’s fresh and further processed facilities.
